Most frequent question – Customer

This will vary depending on how many pages your website requires and if it requires Ecommerce functionality and a database. Another factor to consider is if you would like your website developed from scratch or if you would like an out of the box package such as WordPress or shopify. Should your website need to scale quickly and if you have a large amount of products and complicated shipping and tracking we recommend developing your website from scratch. For most small to medium businesses a template website is more than enough. We offer an excellent starter pack for template websites which includes our entry digital marketing package. Check it out here – Template Websites.

For a small business offering a service such as construction tradesmen or barber shops, we recommend a minimum of four pages. A home page showing your main service, an about page, a service or portfolio page and a contact page. For websites that incorporate Ecommerce, the amount of pages your website will need will depend on the amount of products and different product categories you have. For a small online shop we would recommend a home page, a products page and a checkout page. There will also be sign up, log in/out and user profile functionality.

Every time you have a new product or a price change it can be very useful to be able to add these changes yourself on the spot. For all Ecommerce websites we build in an Admin login Content Management System. This allows you or your a staff member to log in and make changes to certain product fields such as images, price, SKU and category. The changes will then reflect on the front end of your website. Although this is a relatively easy process we will provide you with the training to this. And of course if you would prefer us to make all the changes for you while you get on with the business of running a store we can do that too!

If you have opted for our digital marketing package we can have your website up and running and indexed on google in a short space of time. You can expect your website to start appearing for specific search terms within a couple of weeks. For more competitive search terms it can take three to six months to begin seeing results for these.
